Wilf Williams was born in Bristol in 1968.

He studied furniture design after moving to York in 1996.  Since then he has successfully earned a reputation as an accomplished furniture maker, producing work that not only concentrates on function, but equally on aesthetic and form. 

The aesthetic and form is inspired by modernist architecture, minimalist sculpture, traditional Shaker and Scandinavian furniture as well as simple natural forms found all around us.

Wilf works closely with his clients:
"Designing for a client's needs can be challenging.  I design then craft a piece of furniture that not only incorporates their ideas and needs, but also my own design ideas and ideals."

Wilf then makes the pieces using a wide range of materials.  He predominantly uses sourced sustainably forested hardwoods, and creates pieces with longevity and value.
